Targa side seal/window fit
I put new side seals on my '73 targa and now the top rear corner on the driver's side window sits at least 1/4" off the seals (away from the car--the top of the window is level front to back) when the window is rolled up all the way. The side seals are adjusted out as far as they will go. The car is my daily driver and we're headed into the rainy season here in Oregon--any ideas?

I just got through replacing all my targa seals. Not only is it expensive, it is a royal pain. I still haven't got it perfect, but I'm leaving it for now.
You can adjust the window in at the top, by a slotted screw at the bottom of the track. You have to take off the interior door panels for this. I also had to move my targa top location to the right by moving the guide pins. This was beyond their normal range, so I had to slot them with a dremmel.

Thanks, Midlife. I'll pull the panel and look for a screw on the track that holds the bottom of the window.

It's screw number 5.
![]() There is also some adjustments to the rear track, 6 and 12, that are accessable from the outside of the door.
