Warm up Revs
This thread on crusing got me thinkin...
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=190507 What is the best way to drive a 911 when its cold? Higher revs, say like around 3.5k with less load, or shift earlier, keep em low around 2kish, with more load? Does this make sense? I live in a colder area and drive year round, just wondering what is best for my baby.

I stay below 3.5k when cold. Once warm I shift at 4k, 80% of the time.

also... don't let the revs get too low -- the # will depend on the torque the engine has .... about 2,500
so ... kee the engine speed around 3k or so. |
