Go to Old Town and have a margarita in the Plaza del Mundo. La Jolla is always a favorite or check out Coronado.

The automotive and aerospace museums (plus the art, natural history museums & Reuben H. Fleet Space Theatre) at Balboa Park are always interesting and right next to each other. They have an SR71 our in front of the aerospace museum & a MIG 15 (boy are they small!) inside along with all the other aircraft. If you can find a copy of the Reader in a 7/11 or some other place, it tells you about everythiing happening in S.D. during the coming week. It comes out on Thursdays & is free. You can always go to Tijuana if you want to & haven't been. There is the Birch Aquarium above Scripps. You can rent a kayak & go paddling & ride some surf. Good places are Mission & Pacific beaches & Lajolla Shores (where you can paddle through the caves in the cliffs). Etc., etc.

So a friend of mine said that there is something Porsche related going on Saturday at the stadium parking lot, is the local PCA having an Autox?
I am looking forward to seeing some warmer weather. Thanks for the replies.

The PCA was scheduled for last Saturday, it was canceled due to SDSU football. Nothing this weekend in San Diego, PCA related would beTime Trials at Willow Springs a 2.5 hr drive.

So I an here now at the Hilton in Torrey Pines and it is pretty incredible. I love this city, beautiful, nice weather, looks of P-cars, most new but a few older classics around. I saw a nice early BMW 3.0CS today on Highway 5.
I am very jealous of those of you who can afford to live here. I think my wife would actually quite enjoy it here. Too bad I couldn't afford ot bnuy a house. Thanks and talk to you later Mike
