930s rear brake duct covers

I have a 930 with the openings in front of the wheels. Does anybody know where I can get the grates/covers to go over the openings ?

Steven,

You may want to call http://www.betterbodiesmotorsport.com/used.htm or http://www.americaninternationalracing.com/

Also, do you have any grates at this point? If you do you can copy what you have in resin or another composite. If not you'll have to decide between Resin/FG or steel. I personally didn't care for the steel version but many cars use it (I may have a set at home). I have resin grates with a semi-gloss, textured black finish. I'll take pics for you to see. IMO, they are not bolt-on off-the-shelf items. I custom formed mine to the contour of the brake vent box. It's easy to do and I'll describe the procedure when you get to that point.

From what I understand the factory grates were made of wood....at least on the earlier cars.

Steve,

No picture needed as I've been through the fabrication process a couple of times. Do you have any of them left or were they all stolen?
