VARA at Willowsprings
 

Hey all you local P-car nuts... VARA is running its last race of the year at Willowsprings. It is going to be a great race. Over 220 Entries, Big bore bash, Can Am races, Historic NASCAR, VROC (vintage Race of Champions) in Equally matched Celicas ( I get to race in that one too)....

Just in our run group alone, we have 21 Porsches...

Come on out and check it out. Many of the Pelican members are going to be racing in this one.

Mark, it's looks like a great group of Pelicans will be there. Too bad it's waaaaaaaaaaaay over on that other coast. ;) Oh well, can't wait for the pics! :D

I'll be there to watch the Celicas race for sure. No excuses from eitheir the PORSCHE or ALFA ROMEO drivers about bore, stroke and displacement. I wouldnt miss it.

Mark is finally gonna realize he is fast cuz his car is fast and that I, myself am faster. It's gonna be a fun race, can't wait. I'll have my 911 out there too so there'll be a Porsche/Alfa Challenge in my pit space all weekend.

Never said you were'nt fast. I know you are....But I am faster... I am the heaviest 911 out there.... Your car is lighter and has the same HP as mine, and has an even weight distibution.... You have run out of excuses. Now is the time to wake up and smell the roses....

I know this will be a good race... Me, you, efrain and Alan are going to close... Whoever wins is certainly deserve it....

Yeah in all seriousnes...I think it's gonna be one of the med bore production guys walking away with it...look at last year's results.

BTW....I probably have one of the very few still street legal race cars in VARA :)

Ditto, on the street legal... Just need to add mufflers and turn signals.

I will be there Friday.. Not sure where we are pitting. I am sure neer turn one...

I spoke to darlene last night and there is gonna be no Trans Am this year, so I guess that space is available. They sent out last years paddock map in the package. See you guys Friday morning.
