Oja, Jerry is right, if people see a pre 84 car without tensioner upgrade, they feel it has been neglected. That uprgade, by the way, is fully accepted at PCA even in full blown all original show cars.

I never saw much fun in saving the car for someone else.
If you are not going to sell it anytime soon, the best part is to
change the car to what suits you and your personality.

Hang around here for a while and you will be looking for ways to make it lighter,faster,wider,louder..... well you get the point.

This is an 84 targa, not a 73rs, 89 speedster, or even rarer car. I highly doubt there are many out there looking for a perfectly preserved car like yours so why worry?
