ny pelicans...help!
As my 911 is put away for the winter. The winter car 89 mercedes 300 se now badly needs a head gasket because of leaking oil.
Anyone in the ny/ct area know how to do this on a MB? I am a decent DIY mechanic, but, I really need help on this one! I will provide beer/ pizza/ music/ women....etc... Thanks guys. Ken |

Ken,
The Haynes manuals for various Mercedes models have always been good ... if there is one available for your model, I suspect it would be worth $20 to get one locally.

Ken, There are quite a few very seasoned MB techs on the site I provided. You'll do well there.
If not let me know and I'll shoot a couple of PMs out for you.

Rick,
I have found some good info there, but no clear guidance for the steps to do the gasket..... or additional things to look to change.... you know, while I'm in there. Ken
