friends in high places, and other visual delights

it pays to have friends in high places, at least pacific NW high..

during my trip to seattle i did not have the time to visit JW's shop, but in speaking with my hostes i revealed the JW story. you know the one about him being a mechanic that gives information that most charge for. she stopped in the shop and got a plate frame for me, and gave the shop and john high marks.

next a couple of recent prettiness efforts.

newly painted fuch centers-

and my more time than money effort on hand painted center caps. a little testor model paint, squinting eyes, and eventually a splitting headache from focusing...

lastly my recent fan and shroud redo. its painted and i expect the chipping over time, but it sure looks good now,, eh??

lastly my sweety--

discuss!

whay moses, you dont like my photochop????

seemed like a good idea at the time.

chris, i used an enamel flat black for the centers. same with fan shroud and a gloss "safety red" enamel on the fan. about 150 miles in it is already showing small chips on the leading edge of the blades. but as i stated, more time than money. i used my new blast cabinet for the fan clean up. ifact chris if you can used the cabinet let me know. its work area is 15"x15"x24".

did the creek freeze over? that place has that bit right through you high desert cold.

Hey Toby,

It was REALLY nice all day, sunny and almost too warm for riding. Just about perfect really except a little drier than I thought it would be.

Thanks for the offer on the cabinet, I just may take you up on that!
