WTF, looks like a Ferrari had sex with an Oldsmobile.

RickM 11-12-2004 11:04 AM

Interesting comment: "This is a unique one of a kind work of art by Bill Harrah (designer of the only Ferrari Targa)." OK, we'll let the Porsche trademarked "Targa" comment go but what was the 308?

Now I know what they took Enzo to the funeral home in...

TRE Cup 11-12-2004 11:08 AM

that car - er jeep was painted silver orginally and had the ferrari alloys on it too. Harrah was the distributor for Ferrari west of the mississippi in Reno. He ran quite a few sets of michelin xwx radials to shreds on this somewhat heavy beast. There was another one built using the stock jeep wagoneer body with the ferrari implant- that one was in harrah's museum and painted white.
interesting toy

Like Dave I recalled the Harrah version with the V12, which was more interesting than the green one with just the nose transplant.

No less attractive than a Cayenne, and the V12 would sound infinitely better...

Apparently the Sultan of Brunei had five to eight made in different colors. Called the 456 GT Venice.
