Sunvisor won't stay up
I couldn't find this issue addressed in the past with a search so here goes. The driver's side sunvisor on my newly purchased 84 911 Targa won't stay all the way up. I think the pins that attach it to the top of the windshield frame are worn. I looked in a couple catalogs and they sell the clips and pivots for it but it looks like it will cost about $130 for both the pivot and clip. Any other way around this other than replacing the whole thing? The visors themselves are in great shape, just won't stay up...

Buy some used ones at a junkyard.

Seems to me it's just a little matter of tightening up a phillips head screw a coupla notches. Take a look around - I think all will soon be revealed to you grasshopper...
