Faulty Ignition Switch - can it be fixed?

As I continue to work out electrical gremlins in my recently purchased 69S I have discovered that my ignition switch appears to be faulty. The switch works on occasion - although less and less. What is happening is that the wires that get power through the switch when the ignition is turned to on are not getting power. I can bridge power to these wires and the car starts fine. Is it possible to repair the switch as Pelican lists the 69 ignition switch as NLA.
