Subaru WRX STI with a Porsche TURBO

This is what the ricers are doing with parts from Porsche cars.

Thought this thread will be about an engine swap?

HMMMM I wonder if that scobby do engine could fit a PORSCHE?

This has probably been around the Board before but it seems the trend is not confined to the Subie racerboy types....

If it was an STI he wouldn't need a Porsche turbo.

he just wanted the cool Porsche turbo script for the back of his car. This thread has been around a bunch. Idiot was at redline in 3rd in a neighborhood and drove through the corner of a house and two fences. Says he was going 30 in 3rd and then the throttle stuck wide open and he couldn't think of what to do before before he ended up at redline. Sounds like a load of crap to me.

I know the story of the kid who crashed the above WRX. Even if it had 800hp, he'd still put fake stickers/emblems on it. BTW, the story is that he ran it into a house in a residential VA neighborhood and claimed that his accelerator was stuck at WOT....in 3rd gear. :/

Masraum, perfect timing, we said the almost the same thing at the same time. :P

You know what's funny is that I've actually been approached at some of the local Porsche gatherings by other Pelicans with the comment, "Hey, aren't you that guy masraum??"
