73 911 trunk handle broke
The 'T" pull handle for opening the enging compartment broke on my 73 911 E. How is it replaced? I don't see how it dissconnects from the cable.
I have seen replacement handles from differnet vendors but don't understand how the old ones will come off and the new one's go on. Many Thanks, Chris 70 911 E

It screws on to the end of the cable. I believe there should also be a nut there after the T handle to adjust how far it threads onto the cable.
