anyone know where to get these?

I am trying to find some of these crests. Can anyone tell me:

1. where to get them?

2. how they are to go on the car? (before or with paint? on top?)

3. how they stand up to weather?

Thanks

James

John Colasante was selling replicas of the early racing crests a few months ago. He may still have some left.

I did a set on one car that were factory enamel hood badges, but they were placed a little lower, like where they would be on a F-Car. They were also Frenched into the fender so they were flush with the body ( before paint as it required a little filler )

Its all good James. You left NYC, I just had to jog your memory so you don't forget things living in the country!

Just another invitation for some bored kid to peel them off while damaging your paint.

Hi guys, I do have a bunch of these replica Rennsport crest decals available for $6.50 each. Email me at 'jcolasante@nyc.rr.com'. As a plug, these are way superior to many of the very inferior decals I saw on *real* restored 904, 906, 908,910, 917, etc cars at Rennsport! One 906 was using a decal that looked like it was made from a very poor photocopy image of a regular crest. Ew.
