Thanks to all your posts regarding bleeding and replacing brake lines.  I was apprehensive about needing a flare nut wrench but fortunate enough to get by (carefully) with open end wrenches instead.   I think the relative low mileage (44k) and good care by previous owners helped alot.  The Motive bleeder worked like a charm; I would highly recommend it to anyone.  Anticipated the worst regarding spills (putting the bleeder in a plastic bag; surrounding everything to catch spills, using a golf tee in a spare overflow line).  Instead, no spill issues.  Like anything else, especially for the first time, just planning and taking the time to do it right pays off.
