Body questions - Screw holes in panel.

Hi,

I noticed last night that I have a few screw holes to fill on my rocker panels. One of the previous owner screwed the covers right into the panels. Where I am not putting the panels back on what is a good fix? The holes are approx. 1/8 inch in diameter. I was thinking try to fill my mig welder. Any other ideas. I would rather not cut out and put another piece in.

Thanks,

David

When I had my RS flares butt-welded on, I had the welder fill the holes in the rocker panel too. A little grinding and a thin skim coat of filler for any pits and they'll be ready for paint.

Yes, just fill in with your mig welder. Should be no need for cutting and patching.

Make sure you use some thin (.025) wire to fill those holes. You don't want to be making the holes bigger!
