Any news on Wayne's GAF purchase?

Just curious, I haven't seen anything posted by Wayne about his killer RS Clone he purchased at the German Auto Fest. Being that I also have a black with red Carrera striped car, i take great interest in it. Come on Wayne, don't keep it a secret, what have ya been up to? I hope you've atleast been able to enjoy and drive the car since you bought it.

Oh man, I did miss that!!! whoa, now I feel like stick in the mud to bring back bad memories. How bad was it? Sorry Wayne. On the other hand, if it stayed in the engine compartment, atleast you have a reason to join the ranks of the 3.6 bastards. I'll do a search for that thread though.

I think the car is up and running. On the Early S board, he mentioned that he was going to take it on their run this weekend.

Thats good to hear. I was just reading the other thread, what a bummer, but he definately had a great attitude about it. I'd be furious if that happened to me just days after purchasing it, unless it was a known condition of sale. Good Luck Wayne, glad you didn't get discouraged.
