part number quiz?
 

can anyone tell me if this dash part number 911 552 906 03 709 will fit my RHD 1969 911? the only refs. that i have refer only to the LHD part numbers?:confused:

PET indicates that 911 552 906 03 is a

dashboard lining
with loudspeaker opening
perforated
without
center nozzle
leatherette

remarks are
/RL -76

709 is black

I *appears* that part number
911 552 905 03 709 is LHD
and the part you mentioned
911 552 906 03 709 is for RHD

BUT that lining is for a 1976 911 .. ( This is the first year I found where PET lists this part number )

the proper dash lining part # ( according to PET ) for your year ( thru to 1975) is 911 552 032 00 709

I'm sorry. I can neither confirm or deny that a 76 dash would fit your car... All I have is PET and the parts and exploded views are hand drawn, making it impossible to see the detail required to make a determination...

If you are feeling both lucky and handy, I say get the 76 dash and make it work... ( if its a good deal, that is )
