Seat Value?
OK, I am fixing to start my project. All the pics in my previous post really got me hot to start! Thanks to everyone.
My question...I have a set of black leather sport seats in my 78 SC, no tears, minor hardening of the leather. I want to sell them to get a set of momo type "ricer" seats that match my color scheme. Anybody got any idea what my seats may be worth? I will move this to the Classifeds board after I get a concencus. Again, thanks in advance.

Would also be interested as I have a set of leather seats out of my 85 model that are going to be for sale shortly.

The best way to do this is search the classifieds here and elsewhere to view the asking prices. I've done this many times and it's doesn't take long at all because when you search by thread title, you get right to the crux of the subject in the first post of each thread.
I'm going to take a WAG and say $600. Your search may prove me wrong. |

If you search classifieds you'll find that very few sets of black sport seats have been posted for sale. I knew because I just did this search and looked back several years.
Data point: I just bought a set for $850. They are manual seats from an '84 Carrera and they had been properly recovered recently in full leather so they are in like new condition. |
