I'm surprised that the first crane didn't have "outriggers" or side supports on it to prevent it from tipping over, like it did...

that will ruin your day.

Look close, the first truck does appear to have an outrigger. It's fairly small though.

That shot with the truck in the air is priceless. That's called going from bad to worse. In a hurry!

Actually it wasn't the size of the truck, but the fact that the side of the quay gave way because the outrigger pad was too near the edge.:( oops :eek:

Question is....

Who do you make a claim against? Yourself for driving into the drink in the first place? Or the recovery truck for landing on you?

I'd love to see the paperwork on that one!

Actually I don't think the first truck had outriggers for several reasons,
1. The truck suspension is compressing to the right front on lifting.
2.There is no outrigger tunnel visible on the pics of it upside down.
3.Whatever looks like an outrigger is still in the pictures(step rail?)

Really funny though.....
