Sebring Historics with the Pelicanheads
Well, I met Mike and his wife at the RM Motorsports encampment, and I've heard that Juan from Miami was there, but I'm sorry I missed all the other guys.
We had a hard time finding the RM Motorsports Semi, as it had just tiny little print on the side of the cab of the tractor. But then my old bud from Washington was running his Chevron and his 4-rotor Kudzu Mozda, but no Porsches. Jim of RM had sold his 962, which went back to Germany, but he's bought another 962 to make up for the outrageous profit on the exchange rate US$ vs. Euro. Gosh, a whole different world of wheeling and dealing! The races were fun, the chatting with old friends even better, and now we're looking forward to January, when RM will rent Moroso for the week to test his and customers' cars. Must be nice to play with other kids' toys!!!!!! Now that should be interesting. Perhaps I'll have the 1000 miles of break-in by then, and I'll get the Chocolate Kiss out on the track once again. Can't wait.
