17" wheels for 3.2 Carrera
This is my first post. I just bought a 1984 Cab with 32,000 miles and loving it. Over the winter I would like to upgrade including newer 17" wheels. Can I use both the Boxter and 993/996 wheels, or only one type? Thanks for your help.

If you are looking for Boxter and 993/996 wheels you will need spacers. There are after market wheels that will fit without spacers. I have a set of 17 inch Turbo Twist rims for sale that would fit your car. E-mail me if you are interested jstevens4962@charter.net .

You can fit 993 Cup IIS, but you need spacers, 1.25" F and 1.5" rear. I am selling a set of the wheels now, pics with pics of how they look on the car.
FS: Cup IIs 7x9x17

Or you can get the fuchs refinished by a guy named al reed for around $100 a wheel and have a much more updated look.

One more vote of Al! I am picking up a polished set of 16x8s today. Can't wait to see them.
