installing shocks, turbo tie rods, and changing sway bar bushings.

helping a friend....any roadbumps to know about? what about those rear shock top bolts? will they spin the entire shaft during removal? this is a 79 SC. i am hoping to borrow an aircompressor and air ratchet. it seems to be a tight fit, for a reg ratchet.

any lube for the bushings?

tierods seem straightforward.

thanks.

You can grip and stabilize the top of the rear shock shaft with a small wrench. These are all straight forward jobs.

Be sure to use the large washers that come with the turbo ties. They prevent the rack from exceeding its range of travel.

you can use a silicon grease on the bushings. It will help with installation of the front sway bar bushings, which can be difficult. Don't use petro based grease.
