Angry Insurance Claim

Some ---hole broke into my car and stole my tool roll and compressor - along with other things my Ins co won't cover. Anybody have pics/prices/suppliers for these items?

Also while they were in there they cracked the windshield! How much and what type is best (Siglia?).

Any help is appreciated.

That's terrible . I agree, they are low-lifes. Which car did they break into?

Was this excluded from your policy?

I dont understand why it would not be covered... It would either be denied in writing in the us states or you could complain to the local insurance commision..This is standard equipment for the car not covered? non standard lose items would be covered by your homeowners if you were in the us also...

Harold - You are correct, my post was a bit ambiguous. My ins co will cover only the Compressor & Tool Roll. Other stuff has to be claimed against home policy.

I was hoping some one might have pics of the correct items for my model year as I don't want just 'any' replacement. Also Pelican no longer stocks these items and I haven't found another supplier.

Check the Porsche dismantlers on the web, they will be expensive. New dealer stuff will be retarded-expensive.

unfortunately the insurance companies are also tracking how many times you make claims so if you deductible for your home owners is high, you may consider eating it. there was an article on it from msn a while back. yes, it sux ... had a mountain bike stolen last year and coverage from insurance would have paid very little after deductible so i decide to eat it rather than be on the "high claimer" list. sorry to hear about your situation
