First DIY Job Complete with only minor mental damage
I just completed my first DIY job: rebuilding the calipers, new break pads, and a set of shifter bushings. It may not sound like much but I have only had basic auto classes in HS and my 911 is the first car I have worked on myself. Along with new oil and about 16 brake bleeds do to incompetence on my part. But after several calls to Souk, who was good enough to answer my screams for help, everything fell into place. Also I would like to thank all of you guys who gave your own two cents in my several paniced posts. Thanks to everyone and I couldnt be happier to get back on the road.

Congrats ... that was one of my first DIY jobs as well. Not too long after that the engine was dropped and a rebuild was done
 Be prepared because you are now on the slippery slope of DIY'ng.

Good work. None of this stuff is really hard. The car doesn't always cooperate, but the processes are basic. I just bought a set of the Speed Bleeders from Pelican, I hope to get them on and try them this weekend.
