Garage
try Sportech or Jerry Woods,

I have used Mark at Sportech for years and he has never steered me wrong, I have had him do two PPIs for me in the past.

I took my car to Tony Heyer at www.heyerperformance.com. He did a very good job and spent 2 hours with me. He knows the cars well.

Sportech is good. You could also try Don at CT Automotive. Very reputable. On McGlincy Lane in Campbell. Just down from Jerry Woods Ent.

I've had PPI's done both by Jerry Woods and T&D Performance. Both did excellent work. The most recent, by Jerry Woods, cost $200. It was quite extensive, including a compression test, CO test, and a whole lot else, plus a full write-up. So far (3 months) I have not found anything they missed. Excellent value!

You can't go wrong with any of the names mentioned.

I used Don at CT for my last car, the CAB. I also drove 230 miles one way to have them rebuild my tranny and replace the clutch this last Spring, because of thier reputation.

PPI"S

Is $200.00 fairly normal for PPI's cause I've always either done them myself or had friends do them?? Anyone cheap?? Do most PPI's include leakdown or compression test? and what else in the form of testing is done to the car, generally speaking?
Thanks everyone for all the info! Gosh, I wish I lived in your area, there are so darn many resources, plus someone told me that 75% of all p-cars imported into the US are in your backyard! That alone is unreal for-sure!!! Grazzie, Prego! Mark
