Fuchs Wheel Center caps

I am looking into the painted center caps for my 1987 911 Carrera. I notice that there appear to be two different types of center caps that are recommended. One has two small holes, I assume so that they can be removed using some tool, while the other type does not. What are the differences between these two center caps? Is one type better than the other? Given the cost of painted center caps I am also interested in some sort of locking mechanism for the caps. Can both types be secured? Are there companies that will paint my current caps? Looking for any advice from anyone who has looked into this subject matter.

A member of this board hand paints center caps. His name is Steve911. Here is his website: http://home.comcast.net/~srosenzweig/centercaps.html
