Stock torsion bars ??? Help please

I am changing my stock suspension to a full race set up. I was wondering what size the “Stock” torsion bars are? I would also like to know what they are worth. I have an 85 911 -- Thanks for the help

Sorry I have not gotten back with you. Did you find your jack stand? If not I will try to get to my trailer in the morning and check it.

I paid $100 for mine, 19/26, which are typically worth more. Let me know what you plan to do as I have the modification bug too ! Haven't found the jack plate yet, it is cadimum colored.

So, you're saying you actually want all four tires to be in contact with the track at the same time?

Did you do either the BMW or PCA DE's at RA in October? I looked for your car at both but didn't see you. Was going to see if I could keep up this time!

Yep! All wheels on the ground would be good.... I could not make it in October had too much going on. I am going to Sebring in January so I am not sure I will make it to that one either. You need to come over to Barber and check it out - it is a great track. Hope to see you soon - Tim

Well...your absence was good for my ego! Actually, I've done two events at Barber....but none since the engine swap (I think it would be even more fun with some torque to dig out of the hairpin with). Will try to do at least one event there in 05.

18.8 mm and 25mm

Not worth too much. Many people pull these out to upsize, so they are plentiful and the demand is limited.

Tim, you could always hang onto those t-bars for that early rs street replica you may have in the garage one day! (That's what I'm doing since my leftovers are barely worth giving away!)

Doubtful, I was barely conscious for the 2 1/2 days I was home this weekend...Probably not a good idea for you to be following a drunken driver on the track

Can't wait to start putting new parts on your car though. Finally stuck a minifridge in the basement to hold the adult beverages!

Oh, I think I'd rather hit Road Atlanta on December 10/11, but it is the holiday season and I might be better off saving up for my christmas torsion bars...
