911 block heater

I just bought a magnetic 180W block oil heater for my diesel tractor and thought I would put it on the 911 before I head out for my winter drives..where would I put this thing?? Under the engine drain screen or on the oil tank??

I have about the same wattage on my sump plate. It has worked well since ’68. Today, I would add a flexible 40-60 W heating element on the sump tank. There is no substitute for a hot-air 1500 W heater under the engine & transmission for an hour or so before start-up.

Best,
Grady

Tractor and heavy equipment store...Farm and tractor supply may have it as well..You can also get them online with a web search for KATS heaters..The guy told me the dipstick heaters don't work well at all...
