My neighbor has my Speedster book for I believe 812 911 Speedsters (all wide bodies) were brought in to the US, I have #350.

Michael Thiriar in his Speedster book puts the number at 802.
"There were only 2,102 to 2,104 911 Speedsters, including 161 to 165 without the M491 (Turbo-Look) option. These models were referred to as "narrow" or "slim." Some sixty or so were right-hand-drive.
