sound dampening a cab?
I've been reading and searching all the posts about this topic. My question is whether sound dampening (e.g. fatmat, dynomat, etc.) will help with road and engine noise on a cab?
I have an 85 turbolook cab and I'm currently working on stereo upgrade. Most of the interior is out (except rear carpet and seats) and I'm thinking about adding some dampening / deadening material while I'm at it, but not sure if it would be worth the trouble, expense and weight. Any one have before and after experiences with a cab? |

Too big to fail

You're only going to get so far before the top becomes the problem. You can replicate all the same stuff everyone else is doing, but you'll just have to live with the noise coming through the top.
