CIS vacuum lines
Ok, I have searched already and can't find an answer, sooo: I got severe "whileiminthereitis", regarding a leaking breather gasket, and decided to remove cis system as a whole, and clean adjust rebuild as neccesary. I have found many line diagrams showing various vacuum lines, but there is no info on how much of what size line is needed. I could remove the system them measure them all, but am trying to minimize down time. This is for my '74, stock. I know somebody knows, please share..
Thanks, |

Thanks Jim, fast AND exactly what I needed.

Don,
What did you end up doing to your cis? I'm in a similar situation. The engine is out, the cis is off (for non-cis reasons) and I'm wondering if there is anything I should do from a maintenence perspective while I have the CIS sitting on a bench. Thanks Bart |
I replaced all vacuum lines, injector seals, fuel dizzy gasket, throttle body gasket. Cleaned everything real well. I just put it together today, but am charging battery so I don't know the result. At the same time I replaced plugs, adjusted valves, replaced breather and thermostat gaskets/orings, and replaced oil pressure switch. I should have had the injectors tested but didn't; and will probably regret that, so I would definately do that.
