FINALLY got a digital camera, pics gratis
A bit of an early Xmas present. Brand spankin new Canon PowerShot A95, 5mp's and a decent lens with a flip out viewing window in the back and you can record short clips as well. So why not I say, here are some pics of dad's car.
The first two are the car at TRE in the before period. Yeah it's a pic of a pic but no digcam at the time. I wish I had some pics of the interior before we ripped it out. Tan leather seats, stained white headliner, old and worn tan carpet, about 5 alarms systems . The next few are the car as it is now with fenders, bumpers, new paint and so on. Then a shot of the new interior and business end which will change soon if I can convince dad to move along haha. Cheers! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll take some more when the sun comes back out to play. ![]() ![]() i like the last one, dad plastered up all the old porsche posters when i was a kid, almost the whole garage is covered in them. cheers!

Snorkel question for me too. Doesn't it suck in the water if caught in a rainstorm?

Thanks guys, the car is a 1974 911S but now there is a 78 3.0 in the back with 20/21 cams, ssi's, two in/two out banana muffler, msd 6al, new wires, new plugs cap and rotor. Took out the ac system a few months ago and I think it looks much better. Also has elephant racing poly bronze suspension bushings, stiffer tbars in the front, strut brace, sway bars f&r, 8x15's on the back and 7x15 up front running 245/50/15 and 225/50/15 dunlop sp 8000. The rear has sc flares welded on and also a new oil cooler in the center of the front damn. I lopped off the snorkel from the airbox at the time we were putting the car back together at KevinP73's shop last xmas. It's a larger orifice so it breathes a bit better, I just didnt like that big thing on there, havent had any problem with water ingestion to this point. If I wanted I suppose it would be easy enough to fab up a shield out of alu sheet but its not like water is pouring into the engine bay. Next up are 930 brakes and a bigger motor, fuel cell, hopefully roll cage. I just made templates for windows that I will cut out of acrylic and remove the window cranks and replace with straps. Cheers all, now were looking for a longhood to start my project car haha, 911 RDR baby!

Nice car pics, now lets see some of those "grid girls" you've got hidden in the garage.
