Best wiper blades for Carrera 3.2 and where to get?
Bosch, Silblade, others?
How much to spend and where to get? Inserts or full assembly? If there's one thing I HATE it's noisy skipping wipers. |

I got Bosch. Work well, went with the whole assembly since the old ones looked bad. Would love to try the wiper reversal trick if that makes a difference.
Picked em up from pelican.

If your arms are ok, walmart has the natural rubber refills for $4.88 per pair. Use their little computer to look up your car and it will point you to a refill pack labelled "A", "B", "C", or "D" ( I forget which.) You pull the old ones out and cut the new piece to exact length. Takes about 5 minutes to do both. Did my 87 and they work great, they were exactly like the originals....

Wiper arms should be about 90o to the glass and not have any warps, etc. If the new blades chatter then the arms are likely bad.

Just went through this myself last week and here is what I found. The Bosch Microedge arms that I bought were fine except that the driver's side failed to conform around the severe curve of the windshield. The Microedge IIs that were already on the car were fine - but they are not made anymore (there is a difference in the way the blade is allowed to bend). So I did what fuelie600 suggested and went to Walmart. They fit the old Microedge IIs perfectly, confirm just right and the pack of two 28" pieces allows for TWO pairs to be cut for...ahem, $4.88. Works great AND is cheap.
