Porsche Crest SSSP Seat guys PLEASE help to me

Will factory Recaros from a 74 Carrera bolt into my 73 Targa ??
If so, great.
If not, how or what is the best way to make them fit ??

I might be able to help you out somewhat. My old man has a 74, I measured the bolt spacing and it's 31 and 33 cm's. Hope that helps, thats the measurement from front to rear on the mounting plates.

They will not bolt in , you have to use adapters. You can get them at Tweeks or some other aftermarket suppliers

The last ones i seen at Performance Products where $74.95 per seat, but they are simple . Should be easy to make .

i may have one. Are the mounts in the early cars _wider_ than the post-74s? I have a recaro adapter that doesnt fit in my '74, but I don't know what year its from.

The adapters can be fabricated but depending on your ability and material source I'm not sure you could save money over ordering a set .
