Anyone want this one?

250k? It isn't even a real one.

If he actually used OEM porsche parts to make an RSR clone, it probably cost him a crapload to just build it

True, but what does a factory RSR go for?

Okay so acording to the estimator on EBay, IF I put $1000 bucks down for 72 months...lets see...only $4010.13 a month. No way and is freakin awesome. I havent descided if im gonna really test my college student budget and go for it.

Guys, Guys,

Re-read the post. It is an original 3.0 RSR made new (ie, rebuilt) in '04. This guy is not an English speaker, so he used the wording he considered appropriate.

"the original RSR-machine was made completely new in 2004."

It does not appear to be a clone. This appears to be the real deal!

Here come the nit-pickers. Maybe he needed a tach that read more RPM's or was easier to read.

It may not be 100% original but it sure was well-done.

Nah, it's a reproduction. Here's a quote from the listing:

"clone car, perfectly rebuilt with complete original RSR-parts by PORSCHE. The only difference to the original is the chassis number..."

So, it's a clone, but a very good one, using factory parts (including a genuine RSR engine). An original `74 RSR probably goes for 50-75% more than his starting bid.

"It was rebuild by the factory only with original spare parts and was not often used on the track."

Its a Stack unit, they make some way trick racing gauges if you are ever in the market. Not as cool for our mechanical cars but if you have a computer they make ones that have lcd screens built in to tell you any number of different peramiters about your car. Very sweet stuff.
