My car just got called "CUTE" ???

neighbors cleaning lady was admiring my 30 year old 911 and then she told me it was CUTE.

I am not sure how to take this. Do I need to put some manly carrera stripes on or a badge that says 215 RWHP?

I never intended to create a cute look for the car.

I don't know. It looks kinda cute with that ducky tail.

Unlike women, a race car is an inanimate object. Therefore it must, eventually, respond to reason.

Hey, it was just probably her way of saying she liked it. Nice looking car, by the way. I wouldn't describe it as "cute."

It's precious.

(Give it to me and get yourself a manly car. Maybe a Trans Am.)

my girlfriend calls my car cute. At first I took it like "ummm right, a cute 911 with 220 horses to wheels... cute you say..." Her explanation is there isn't a better word for a girl to say about a car. It is either cute or it is a ****ter. She thinks it is odd to call a car mean or something.

Meh.

I can live with cute.

It's the color. Some women like sports cars in non-threatening, "soft" colors. My leaf green 911E gets the cute comment from women all the time. And I'll take a compliment on my car any time.

If it's any help, the Cute 911 on the left won Peoples choice more than once. The Bad to the Bone SC on the right, didn't. Too mean I guess

I think it's a combo of the color, and the size of the car. The 911 is a small vehicle and to some (most?) women, small=cute. So, don't fret if women call your car cute. Now if they call Mr. Happy "cute" then you can start to worry.

...guess I won't break out the credit card for some Manly IROC bumpers and a carrera stripe after all.

although it is kinda tempting now that I think about it.

Generally speaking, women view cars entirely differently from the way we do. There is no question that (assuming she liked it of course) she'd also call the 917-30 "cute." Even then, she might admit she likes the 911 better. Aaarrrggghhhhh.

With 911's being so small with those big round headlights and the front smile from a certain point of view it could almost look cartoonish. Hell in the UK they think they look like frogs.

Don't worry, cute is good. I've known girls (usually petite ones) that really hated to be called cute, but I know that when most guys say a girl looks cute they are saying she's shaggadelic baby, yeah!

As a guy, I'll accept a girl calling me cute any day of the week. I think there may be one thing that shouldn't ever be called cute , and then even in some circumstances that would be ok.

Here's a totally gratuitous shot of my 82sc with a 3.6 stuffed up its backside. It's been referred to as "cute" by several members of the fairer sex ...and thats ok by me.Dan
