I agree. That's why I said snug the nuts good when the car is up and torque the nuts when the car is on the ground. Below explains it better although I wonder..........:rolleyes:

Porsche sent a technical bulletin out when the 17" cup wheel was introduced on the 964 range. Everyone was instructed to tighten the wheel nuts to the correct 130Nm torque with the wheels off the ground. The information given was that the bigger wheels would not be completely hub centric if vehicle weight was on the wheels until the nuts were torqued. So all the shops tighten the wheels when off the ground. Use of Porsche grease on the wheel studs and nut cones was requested too.
