Paint/body shop in San Diego or SoCal
I'm considering buying a ducktail soon for my targa, and I'd like to get a recommendation of a good place locally to get it painted, and approximately how much I should expect to pay. I live in San Diego, but wouldn't mind driving to Orange County if necessary. Thanks for any recommendations.

Allen, I was refered to Axiom Autobody by Dave @ TRE. I won't have my car back for a few weeks, but I have been happy with Joe's response thus far. I live in Encintias. They are doing a complete bare metal respray and RSR look to my '71. Costs are very reasonable. (310) 995-4243 is his number. They are in Inglewood.

I've had all my work done by Automotive Innovations and Restoration, which is Pelicanite KevinP73's shop.

If it was me, being where you are, I would take it to TJ.
Take them the new lid, and your gas filler door. Some info here. Tom |

If you don't want to go all the way to Kevin, try Pristine Motorsports in HB. They did my Duck, and did an awesome job.
