Not the prettiest, but I made it myself!

Looks great guys... It's funny the original looking engines still look GREAT without any color, simple and all Porsche.
The color combinations are interesting. It will be neat to see the different combos. PLAVAN, is that white engine tin? Is the car white? |
Not the prettiest, but definitely more functional now that all of that "creature comfort" cr@p has been removed from the track car.
It actually got a little prettier since this photo was taken with some nice red Clewett Engineering wires. Tom http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1102704810.jpg |

The engine tin is light grey. The camera washed it out a bit. Engine tin should always be a lighter color....easy to spot leaks that need attention :). Not saying it will leak though :)

"I made it myself!"
- Wow - you have some great casting and forging abilities! Who did your smelting? |
Not mine, but found it interesting, an electric Porsche.

Randy,
Very funny! I was referring to fact that the engine is a combination of a 964 long block and a 993 V-ram intake. Since updated with the 993 Exhaust, which proved to be a big improvement. I can't cast or forge in this garage! Love to have access to facilities to do so! I can see some nice front suspention parts in my mind... Chris |
Folks are probably getting tired of these pics, but I love to irritate them, so.....

Here's my "Studio" shot after my rebuild
This is the way the engine looked after the rebuild, taken with a black background (a black blanket).
Looks slightly different in the car, since the black sheet meatal is mostly hidden by the body.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1102706136.jpg |
Here's my baby!
Fresh after the rebuild and ready to be instaled. http://www.pelicanparts.com/pmpre/im...SM911Motor.jpg |
Are Turbos allowed? :)
Here's my 3.3 930 engine after some recent CIS tweaking and engine detailing:
