Help Mounting Aero Mirrors !!!
I'm adding an OEM areo mirror kit to my 1977 9!1 that didn't come with a passenger side mirror.
Can anyone tell me if the hole pattern I'm going to drill in the passenger door is the mirror opposite of the one on the drivers side? Is it necessary or advisable to use a mirror base reinforcing plate on the passenger door? If so, where do you buy one? At the dealer? |

The mirror is on a different spot on the passenger side, more to the rear
You need a reinforcement plate, or the door will distort. Try a search on the mirror position, it has been covered a few times. |
