Question Targa Headliner Replacement

Does anyone know if these are the only parts (listed below) I need to redo the interior of my targa top? I guess some vinyle top & trim adhesive is needed as well. Also, is this something I can do on my own, or is it much more difficult than meets the eye?

(from Pelican parts)

Targa Top Roof Headliner, 911 (1974-89)
PEL-911-HL-03 $83.50

Targa Top Roof Padding Kit, 911 (1974-89)
P-TRGPAD-1 $31.00

Thanks!

Rick,

Yes it's certainly something you can do on your own, especially since it's just the headliner. If I'm not mistaken the Targa Top padding is for the top side in between the vinyl and the metal plates inside the top.

Thanks Dan. So it appears I only need to order the headliner and not the padding - makes sense to me! Another weekend project.

Garage
Targa latch/catch bolts and nut plates

I'm in the middle of recovering my Targa top right now. The padding goes above the metal supports, the liner goes below. You don't need it if you are just replacing the liner.

Thanks for the confirmation Gordo. It's always nice to start projects with the correct info.
