valve adjustment question
Greeting all,
Just replaced heads and rings on my '72 T motor. Is valve re-adjustment needed after running the car for a couple hours or will the gaps stay set? Is there some standard procedure for when you reinstall heads? Thanks, Marty Scott |

Check the torque on the headstuds and readjust the valves after running the motor for 20 minutes and then at 500 miles.

Sure do, Kurt. Was down there last Tues. & Wed.. My Grandfather passed away and we came to town for the funeral.
I see you're in Lohman now and I was curious as to where that is in relation to Jeff. City. I'll being coming down a little more frequently in the future and would love to look you up. Don't forget to give me a holler when you're in the DSM area. Marty |
