Supposedly the person who flipped it is 19 years old.

The picture looks fake to me. Photochopped.

The signs and bushes are just too pristine and undisturbed.... yeah....the car just landed there perfectly in that spot.

Photochop.

If they're thinking of doing any suspension work, now's the time......

When I first started looking at 911's, iI test drove a sweet 32k mile 96 993 from that dealership. I was a little suprised that they just tossed me the keys... that place has a weird rap, but they usually have an impressive array of cars.

I think sonic is right:

Notice how the telephone pole and street sign pole seem to be sharper in the area of the car. Can't believe anything anymore!

ne way to tell a fake pic is too look for shadows. I'm not saying shadows can't be painted in, but that's the key. By the rear wheel in the ground cover mulch is the shadow that convinces me this is not a fake.

As 89911 said, I noticed the sharpness of the sign too... as Noah said...the undisturbed shrubbery and grass etc.

fake.

On the other hand, this one is all real.

Me thinks it's real. The cops in the background and all the firefighters have to be looking at something. Plus I would think there isn't too many shots of the underside of a GT2 out there to use as a photochop "addition". As far as nothing being disturbed, I think if the shot would have been wider to include the area to the right, you would see where the car hit and flipped. Of course, I could be all wet.

Sharpness of signpost in front of car could be an normal artifact of jpeg image compression. Cut & paste job was pretty good if this was fake. Passenger door area to left of utility pole looks kinda funny and might have been painted in.

Could be a fake, but check the angle of the front wheels - somethings broken or bent for sure

Not only that, but i have a hard time believing that that car flipped after hitting a curb without breaking the wheels. I saw a standard 996 that had been stolen and slid sideways into a curb, both wheels on that side were busted bad, and the suspension was mangled pretty good not to mention it didn't flip.

Well, according to the discussion on AudiWorld, there's an eyewitness??? Nobody seems to have much good to say about Luxury Motors either - they're in Downers Grove and I almost bought a car from them a couple years ago ....

Just checked mapquest and there is a Boston Market on Ogden St several blocks from Luxury Motors.

So, someone call Boston Market and ask them if they had an inverted Porsche in drivethru.... by the look on the firemans face, it was something at least as funny as a dill hole flipping a GT, me thinks it's real...

Look closely there is some serious damage to the rocker and rear suspension. Also notice the front wheels are looking at each other. Other photographic annomalies exist but I think this one may be genuine.
