The nice thing I have going is I can always take out the 3.6 and install what ever engine in it that they wanted.
If I desided to sell it!

I don't know about that early chassis can't win in GT2 thing.
Not only do I think you can, but I have seen it and not just once.
The liter early chassis with the same power, brakes and good sup will give a heaver 964 or 993 a fit.

That yellow slope nose GT1R in the pic has a 3.8 turbo in it and it gives 996RS's a fit out running all but a very few. Like Woody and Racers group car. Its a 73T chassis.
Thanks man!

i wouldn't say its impossible, but a slide valved 400hp 993 rsr around 2300 lbs has a significant edge over early car 300 hp and lets say 2000lbs.

BUT... as with all racing the driver is the most important factor

But if you have the 400hp 3.6 in the early car with a like skilled driver and brakes you would be watching that old cars tail lights. :D

Well! It looks the vote is in.
Thanks for all that voted and put there 2 cents in!!
The 2.7L 15 24.59%
The 3.2L 4 6.56%
The 3.6L 42 68.85%
Total: 61 votes 100%

I thought it would be a closer between the 3.2 and the 3.6.

I will be putting in the 3.6 engine.
This 3.6 just happens to be a 92 RSA engine. Seems fit to me, RSR of old with RS of new.
I will put 1-3/4" set of Euro racing headers and a set of 22"L Supertraps with no plates. It ought to sound great.
I will get a chip and a K&N.
That will put down 250 hp & 230 tq in a 2000 lb car.
It should be a ball to run.
I will keep yall updated as it goes.
