Am I screwed?
First, I'm basically a rookie on 911's. The car has Bosch headlight upgrades (E1's?), and the adjustment screws (caps, not threads) are stripped. Any hope for repair, or do I have to suck it up and buy new headlights? Thanks...............

If you are speaking about the retainers that keep pressure on the bezels so the long screws don't get tossed out forwards, I had the same problem on mine. Not sure where to get replacements, so I used some rubber gasket material to make new retainers. The screws grab on the rubber and keep them inside the bezel wherever I have adjusted it to.

Doug,
I assume you are talking about stripped/mangled Phillips heads in the adjuster locations for Bosch H4 [2 adjuster locations] headlamp assemblies, right??? H1 assemblies have four adjusters, and H4 assemblies have two ... The same repair techniques work for Bosch H1 and H4 adjusters, and several threads on those repairs have been posted over the years ...
