Trouble with Door Locking/Unlocking
 

I removed the door pannel on the drivers side of my 84 Carrera today. When I tried to lock the door I could not get the lock button down with out a lot of force. I narrowed it down to a spring that was loose and binding in the locking mechanism. The arrow in the picutre below (thanks Vash!) shows the culprit. I am planning on removing the mechanism in order to fix it. Before I do, I wanted to make sure no one had a quick fix. Thanks.
