Too big to fail

Home-made cage update
I spent over 6 hours today getting the passenger-side hoop notched and ready to weld, all for 10 minutes of welding.
I hope I did the body support with the jack correctly. More pix @ http://rennlight.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?string=cage

Looks good are you going to tie the suspension together?

2nd hoop is in, bent and notched the header bar, notched and welded the main hoop support, and bent the lower side bars. I'm particularly happy with the way the header bar came out; it's up tight enough that I could still use the visors if I felt so inclined. All the pix are here: http://rennlight.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?string=cage

Do you still consider it a targa?
I'm wondering about this stuff, do you have to have weep holes in the pipes to let condensation out? Do the pre-fab ones? Can you get in there and protect the weld from internal rust by spraying somthing on/in there? Looks like a lot of work, and fun.

I don't think rust will be an issue with this cage, at least not in my lifetime; this is California, not Michigan!
It's a Targa in VIN only.
