More heater ducting questions...

When backdating the heat on my SC, I got the SCAT tubing from Aircraftspruce.com and am happy with it, though the 2.5" stock was still a tad too large. No problem. Now I'm wondering if I can use the same ducting and size stock for the heater flapper boxes. Are they the same diameter or smaller? Thanks.

Rick, I'll defer to someone else for the answer (...but on my '88, I'm pretty sure it would work). Don't want to hijack your question, but what color was the SCAT hose? I just received some SCEET (from Aircraftspruce), and I was under the impression (from an earlier post), that it would be black...or some dark color. It turns out the SCEET hose I received is a burnt orange/rust shade, and I'm not sure I want to use that...yeah, I'm picky! Thanks...

ps: Does anyone know where to source black (high temp) hose? What I received from Pelican a while back isn't flexible enough...the SCEET would work great...I just don't care for the color.

Call Aircraft Spruce and they'll tell you which is which. I did. I wanted the orange though. That's silicone. I forget what material the black ones are.

Thanks Rick, I'll do that. VaSteve...clear out your PM in-box when you get a chance, and I'll reply again tonight.
