Does anyone here have a factory spec book?

I planned on purchasing the '84 - '87 Factory Spec book. I thought it might be handy for alignments and torques and such. I have an '88 Targa but the book was only released till '87.

So what do you think there is much difference? I can only imagine it would be clutch and g-box info, 915 vs. g-50. I would think all of the suspension geometry, engine, ect. info would be the same.

Thanks for your time

Why not just get the Bentley Manual for the Carreras? It has the same information in it as the Spec book.

I have that spec book and it covers the G50. If you can find one it should be fine for your '88.

Thanks Chris.

Kurt, I've have Bentley, use it all the time, I just thought might be cool to have. Besides, the Bentley manual doesn't fit in the glove box too well!

Just a note: The Bentley man. for the '90 thru '93 VW Corrado is about 300 pages thicker than the Bentley Carrera manual! Never would have thought.
